Very Nice One Owner Turbo Diesel 6 Cylinder Wagon Though Listed for 10 Days, This Auction WILL END the Second someone presses the "Buy it Now" button or makes me an Acceptable offer. I should say to begin with that all the cars I sell are MY cars and as such have been brought up to the standards that I personally expect from an automobile, ie: operating- as much as possible - as they did when new and looking, handling and performing to the manufacturer's specs. This Mercedes 300TDT - Touring Diesel Turbo is a very rare one year car - one of only a thousand imported. These wagons had the then New Body Style and for power had the 3.0L 6 Cylinder Turbo Diesel Engine which had only been supplied to the much larger S body cars the previous year as well as in the two years following. This provided a tremendous power plant for these smaller vehicles making them very quick and quite economical as well. But then if you are reading this listing you probably already know all there is to know about this car. This particular example lived quite a sheltered life between the eastern shore of Maryland in the summer and Florida in the winter which is why she is Rust Free. I lavished a great deal of attention on this one and virtually replaced all the perishable suspension units including ball joints, control arms, etc. as well as the costly Accumulator Balls in the rear which provide the automatic load leveling. The Benz goes down the road as though it's on rails the way a Benz should and it is Very fast. The AC is ice cold, the Michelins are nearly new and all the fluids, etc have been recently refreshed, so she is ready to take her new owner in great Comfort, Economy and Speed anywhere a reasonably well paved road will lead.
