1997 Mercedes Benz E420 finished in Brilliant Silver with Black leather interior. This car was originally delivered on 1/28/1998 as a 1997 model year left over. I had purchased the car Starmark Certified on 5/28/2001 with 21,400 miles for $37,500 at Sovereign Motor Cars, Brooklyn, NY. The car has been extremely well kept and religiously maintained. It was used as a daily driver, however, I had more than one car so this car was not used every day and has a low 94k miles on it. In addition I have a garage at my home and office so this car was garaged during the day and over night also. The paint holds an extremely deep shine and looks amazing and the interior shows no fade and looks as new. I have done every service at the Mercedes dealer on time and by the book and it is up to date today with the 90k service being completed in May along with some other items at a cost of $3,000. It had been extremely well cared for and is in great condition. The exterior of the car is in great shape. The car has never been in an accident and retains its original paint. The paint is in excellent condition holding a very deep shine. It is in very good condition but does have some stone chips and touch ups that would be expected on a car of this age and mileage. When you pull into the dealer for service they go over the car and note any dings or dents and whenever they had suggested the car picked up a ding I had it removed by their Dent Wizard. It was always garaged and kept clean. The interior of the car is in almost new condition and shows very little wear. Having constantly had the car garaged has left the interior very bright and fresh. The wood is vibrant and not faded and the leather is in excellent condition. I had Mercedes sheep skin covers on the front seats throughout my entire ownership and it has preserved and left them in excellent condition. They show as new with no wear or fade. The carpets do not have a single stain on them and the mats are new and from the dealer. The windshield is also new. I have had no children, eating, smoking, or pets in the car during the time that I have owned it. The only problem that I am aware of in the interior is that the driver's seat head rest, which is electrically operated, does not work all of the time. Aside from that every button and feature operates as it should. The cup holder in the center console opens and closes correctly. The air conditioning works as it should and has recently had major components replaced at great expense. The tires on the car are also very recent. Mechanically, the car is also in excellent condition. It needs absoluely nothing that I am aware of. I am a strong believer in dealer service and had maintained the car as it should be. Mercedes Benz of Fairfield has been the only facility to service this car for the time I have owned it. I have kept meticulous records of each service and repair that has been performed on the car. I keep a running diary of the service history which I have in the last picture below and have hard copy print out receipts from the dealer to back up each service as well as having the car's original service booklet stamped by the dealer for every single suggested A and B service under my ownership. Please see the last picture, it will summarize everything that has been done on the car. This E430 is in excellent condition and has been lovingly maintained. It drives like a new car, the engine is very strong and the transmission extremely smooth. The appearance of the car's interior and exterior are that of a much newer car due to all of the time spent in the garage. Lastly, the car could not have been maintained any better, I did every service or item that had been suggested by the dealer.
