For sale a 1957 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 2-door sedan. Its a excellent car to make into a custom rod, rat rod, or to leave stock. Car is all original except for the addition of an alternator and electric fuel pump. Have the parts for the generator to bring that back to completely original. The engine was partially rebuilt, and this includes: rebuilt carburetor, new camshaft, push rods and lifters, and a new oil pump. Overall, it is a solid running car, but the choke isn't working properly. The power brakes work, but the brake fluid is low and the cap to the master cylinder is rusted shut. Some oil is leaking, but I believe the oil pan just needs to be tightened due to new gasket. The interior is pretty clean. Glass is in excellent shape. Seats could perhaps need new foam. Horn works well. The AM radio works. Wipers don't work. Heat works if you plug in vacuum line, but controls don't work. The body is all around sound with solid floors. Mostly rust free except for some bubbles on the passenger front fender. Car needs a paint job. Originally a beige car. I must also mention that the car is still on lien. When car is sold, I will promptly pay it off and send the title to buyer ASAP with next day mail. My E-bay record speaks for itself on how trustworthy I am. The car is on a low reserve. I only want to see the car go to a good home. With some TLC it can be a very nice car.
