1991 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. Has a supercharged 3.8 V6 engine and a rare 5 speed transmission. Less than 2000 were produced with a 5 speed in 1991. If you are looking for a car you can jump in and drive away in then you need to keep looking because this car needs work! The body is the best part of the car, no major dents or dings, there is a spot on the front fender where the clear coat is peeling. The interior is in good shape also with the exception of a few small rips in the front seats. The car has a sunroof. Now for the bad part, this car has been sitting for quite a while so the battery will probably need to be replaced. There is a small leak in the top of the radiator that someone has tried to fix using epoxy and it is not working very well, it's not pouring but it does leak a little bit. The supercharger seems a bit noisy but I don't know much about these engines so I don't know if that is normal or not. There is some play in the shifter, my mechanic seems to think that it just needs a bushing replaced. The worst problem with the car is that it has NO brakes, the brake pedal is hard as a rock. The car starts right up with a boost and runs good, no smoke or knocking from the engine, I have gotten the gauge to show about 7 pounds of boost on the factory boost gauge. It is not driveable due to the brakes and will need to be towed. The rear tires will need to be replaced soon. The miles are not guaranteed because the odometer does not work. The title is marked "miles exempt". Someone who knows how to work on these cars could make a very nice car with this one or use it for parts. Please don't expect a perfect car because this one is far from being that! I have described it to the best of my knowledge but my advice would be for you to come and check it over before you bid if there is something you are unsure about. If you live in the state of Ga we are required to charge sales tax plus an $18 title transfer fee in addition to the bid price, also if you live in a Ga county that requires emissions testing please DO NOT bid on this car because it does not have a current certificate. Out of state buyers will only pay your winning bid price but you will be responsible for your states applicable sales tax and registration fees. I have more pictures of the car.
