Selling from my private collection... My early 1955 VW Beetle Convertible. Stunning in every way. People love the early styling of this oval window convertible and wave at me all the time. It must be the shiny black finish with red interior and white wall tires and bright chrome bumpers. Original numbers matching pan and front VIN plate. Original radio still works! If you are looking at this ad then you know how hard these early cars are to come by. This is a California car with no rust on the body. Paint was done a few years ago. Its a really nice paint job but has some nicks and minor scratches on the body. Interior and carpets have been replaced and are in excellent condition. Dash is not cut or damaged. Car has been converted to 12v. Has two batteries now. One for starter and one for car to run on. There is an auxillary starter button installed. Just replaced top last week with new Black Haartz German top, new padding, new headliner, wood bows and rubber seals. Has the original rear Sekurit oval window. Just rebuilt the front suspension king pins. Rare Beauty ring hub caps. Also has new seat belts. Car starts right up and drives excellent. Acceleration and braking are excellent. Clutch is excellent. All glass is intact and body trim. Chrome is very bright and shiny on bumpers. Window chrome is peeling off on front wing windows. I have the replacement parts and they are included with sale.
