If you are looking for a great truck to go and to show, this is it! I have found a 1955 Chevy that I have always wanted and my wife says not until I sell my truck. So here it goes: The truck was a frame off restoration 2 years ago, and has been garaged since. The truck sits on a Camaro sub frame, has Camaro front end with disc brakes, power steering and tilt wheel. The rear end is a Camaro. The engine is a 350 Chevy with a 350 Turbo Transmission. The bed has new wood and has stainless steel strips. No tail gate (I think it looks better). The fenders are fiberglass and the hood is steel (good condition). Tires and wheels are average. There is a pioneer radio with CD player (sounds good). The gauges (speedometer, etc.) do not work, however add on gauges for oil, temp and amps all work. No windshield wipers. NOTE: the wing window on passenger side needs repair but closes, with the rest of the glass in good condition. Mileage is based on last frame off. The power steering has small leak and could be fixed prior to purchase. This truck can be driven everyday with no problems. It's great fun to drive and blow the ooooga horn.
