Vehicle Detail
1989 Porsche 944 Turbo. I bought this car a few years ago from the original owner who had purchased it brand new from Princeton Porsche in New Jersey. I bought it with a little over 50k miles. I have barely driven the car during my ownership. It has been mostly a garage queen. Always adult-owned and babied. It is 100% totally stock. Everything is original and factory spec. Not a single after-market part. It has all receipts dating back to when it was purchased new from the dealer. It has been serviced its whole entire lifetime no where else but the dealer. Its 40 and 50k mile inspections were performed at the Porsche Dealership as was its recently replaced timing belt and water pump. You will not find a nicer conditoned car. The engine runs as smooth as the day it was purchased. Perfect 160 compression across all 4 cylinders. Also, less than 2% leakdown on all 4 cylinders. The mo30 suspension is as tight as the first day it drove off the dealership lot. All 4 corners have been replaced with brand new OEM MO30 equipment. The car also has brand new rotor and tire. The clutch was also done not too long ago at approx. 45k miles. Receipts are available for everything. The interior is the cleanest you will ever find. The seats and carpet are mint. Not a single stain, rip, wear or tear anywhere on a white interior is extremely uncommon and almost nonexistent in a car of this age. No big unsightly dash cracks either that are found on most of these cars. This car was garaged its entire lifetime. The paint and body are both perfect all around the car with one exception. There is a small dent that is more-like a fold above the rear passenger wheel. The quarter panel shows a small curve in it right above the rear tire which is hard to spot upon first glance since it almost contours to the natural curvature of the car's lines. This imperfection occured the rainy night that the rear end of the car slid out into a curb from taking a corner too fast for driving conditions. The half shaft cv axle joint and rear torsion bar were bent which is the reason for its salvaged title. The car has since been repaired by a Porsche-certified mechanic with all brand new Genuine OEM Porsche parts. The damage turned out to be nothing more than a couple bent suspension parts all of which were replaced. Some minor inexpensive body work to the rear quarter and the car would look as good as it now runs and drives which as good as ever. I also need to mention a few other things about the car.... The A/C blows ICE cold and never needs a re-charge. The power steering rack does not leak a single drop of fluid nor does the car burn a single drop of oil. The transmission is the original LSD AOR trans and it shifts perfectly throughout all the gears.
