This is a unique opportunity to own a running and driving DeLorean on a budget. This IS a project car. There is work that needs to be done. We do not know the miles on this car but we do know its in excess of 150,000. The engine and transmission have been replaced and do not have the same amount of miles on them as the structure of the car. The car drives well. The engine is smooth and the transmission shifts nicely. Visually, the stainless is nice but the trim shows wear. Inside the two tone seats are new and are perfect. However, the dash and binnacle will need to be replaced to be in the same condition. We list this as a project car since it does need work. However where most project cars do not run, this car does drive. Its perfect for the person who wants to have all of the benefits a DeLorean has to offer without spending a lot of money. This car does have the Eibach suspension, the engine is the stock configuration. Since this is a car that we are not preparing as a certified car, it is not offered with a warranty. This car is being sold as is. DMC Florida is DeLorean Motor Company's first franchise. Opened in 2005, this is where the very first DeLorean ever built (Proto 1) was fully restored. We also completed the restoration on vin 502, the only factory built twin turbo DeLorean. Many concours winning DeLorean's have also had their work performed here.
