YOU ARE BIDDING ON A DAIMLER SOVERIEGN 4 DOOR SEDAN WITH A STRIKING RED AND BLACK PAINT/INTERIOR THEME. I AM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD SELL IT OR CALL AUSTIN POWERS AND TELL HIM I FOUND HIS CAR ! PERFECT FOR THAT ASPIRING INTERNATIONAL SPY OR PIMP OR ANYONE WHO LIKES ATTENTION ! PRODUCED BY BRITISH LEYLAND WITH THE DAIMLER BADGE FROM THE MID 70'S TO 1983 THIS CAR IS WHAT WOULD LATER BE KNOWN AS THE JAGUAR XJ6. NOT MANY OF THEM WERE SOLD STATESIDE AND VERY FEW REMAIN. THIS CAR SHARES ALL THE XJ6 RUNNING GEAR AND PARTS. THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BEING THE NAME ON GRILL. THIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY PAINTED A METALLIC BROWN. THE NEWER RED PAINT STILL LOOKS GOOD AND IS A GREAT MATCH FOR THE WILD LOOKING INTERIOR. THE TOP IS REAL CLOTH, I DONT KNOW IF I HAVE EVER SEEN THAT DONE BEFORE BUT IT SEEMS TO WORK FOR THIS CAR. THE MOTOR STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS STRONG. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS PERFECTLY. THE BODY HAS SOME RUST, MOSTLY ON THE LOWER FENDER AREAS. THE UNDERCARRIAGE AND FRAME ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. THE DUAL EXHAUST HAS BEEN REPLACED AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION BUT I CAN HEAR A LEAK THAT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS COMING FROM A JOINT OR SOMETHING. THE SEATS AND DOOR PANELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE INTERIOR WOOD TRIM IS LOSING ITS CLEAR COAT. THE POWER SUNROOF WORKS FINE. ALL 4 WINDOWS STOPPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME - IT MUST BE A FUSE BUT I CANT FIND IT. THE TIRE ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NEARLY 100% TREAD. THE CAR DRIVES NICE, THERE MAY BE A LOOSE OR MISSING SWAY BAR BUSHING UP FRONT, YOU CAN HEAR IT ON BUMPS.
