This is a low mile unmolested stock 1972 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe, 2 door hardtop from California. I’ve had it for over 4 years. Original survivor nicely optioned. Beautiful blue interior. I can show you copy of previous California title. Excellent driver. It has 72k original miles. I am third owner. Has spent most of it’s life garaged. Cowl tag : 72-13637 K19096 BDY 724 A52 110D PNT 6D 0462431n29048 If any of the trim plate doesn’t look right or missing a digit that’s because I did a pencil tracing of trim tag on a piece of paper and may have missed a code or mis-read a code. Just let me know, I’ll clarify. Built at the Van Nuys California plant It has: Artic White paint as original. Correct Blue vinyl top was replaced a few years ago. New steel inner wheel wells to replace fading plastic ones. Interior is the correct Blue, with Split bench seat, Everything in interior excellent, headliner looks perfect, no tears or sags. Doesn’t look like anyone ever sat in rear seat. Column shifter, column perfect no scratches. Steering wheel excellent no cracks. Dash pad no crakes or fading. Seat belts excellent. All gauges work correctly. All lights work and all chrome great shape. Bumpers are good. I had new rugs put in recently, new package tray last year*** took out rear speakers for new tray. New 4 original repro floor mats with Chevelle script that are original to car. Mats are from National Parts Depot as were the rugs. New starter and ignition switch by pro mechanic. Trunk is in excellent consition, no rust, spare tire and jack with jack cover there and in very good shape. Some features: Power steering Power front disc brakes/drums rear Air conditioning-needs recharge 350 V8 2 barrel engine /350cid V8 2-bbl (L65), engine # match's. 350 Turbo-hydro-matic tranni, Stock rims, original hubcaps, whitewall tires in excel cond. original am radio resides in dash with a Chamelion (hide away) am/fm CD player mounted discreetly under dash. Has what looks like original spare, Jack is there, in excellent condition. Factory jack cover in good shape. Trunk nice, no rust, but doesn't have a trunk mat. This Chevelle runs perfect, has surprising pep (didn’t expect that from a 2 barrel carb) engine does not smoke, shifts smooth and no noises rattles or squeaks anywhere on car. No noises from the rear end. Windows go up down smoothly. All glass excellent and appears to be original. This car is unmolested. You would call it a survivor car and a great driver. No dings, only noted one small dent in driver quarter almost too small to see, won't show up in pictures. No rust. Paint is excellent and shines nice. Only shows a normal chips here and there from normal driving. Underside of car excellent as you would expect from a west coast car with only 72k miles. Doors close with a solid thunk as only a low mile older cars can. Fuel system : tank, sending unit and gauge all work as they should, tank is perfect with no scapes or damage. Brakes perform as they should, no pulling or squeaks. Excellent driver. Detail engine and you have a great local car show vehicle. Or easy to turn into an SS clone, put 4 barrel carb, whatever. I never thought of looking for build sheet so may be on car somewhere. *****No bubbles on paint, but there are some bubbles under viniyl roof right under the rear window moulding. Very minor, not that noticable. I had the rear window taken out by a glass pro (not a silicone job) to reseal rear window as there must have been a small leak. Underside of car in excellent shape.
