This is a freshly restored MGB GT. It is british car mechanic owned and in fine operating condition. All glass was removed and rocker panels removed to repair all rust. the paint job is with ppg paint and is colorsanded and buffed to a show finish. The interior is all brand new, custom made and bound carpet kit, new seats, new steering wheel, and matching throw in floor mats to protect the carpets. most all exterior trim is new. new bumpers, tail lights, side molding trim, mirrors, back up lights, and new grill. I pulled the engine and painted the engine bay at the same time, and installed a nice low mileage overdrive transmission i had. it works flawlessly. the engine was rebuilt approx.30k miles ago by the previous mechanic owner, it runs and sounds great. i rebuilt the carbs, and distributor while it was out, and replaced the water pump and rear main seal with the moss upgraded seal. compression is even, and the car uses little to no oil. I rebuild the front suspension as well and went through the brakes. 2 wheels are brand new, and the other 2 were sand blasted to bare metal and painted to match. tires are about 80% life. the oil cooler lines and oil pressure hose to guage is brand new, as is the speedo cable. engine bay is fully detailed including the proper factory stickers and id plates. the car is intended as a driver and im using it as such, but would do very well at shows if that was your intent. the only exterior thing left to do is for me to reinstall the aluminum trim in the rear windshield gasket, which will be done this week. i can send pics of that if you wish. the floors of the car are in excellent shape and are rust free. The car also came with factory ac installed and the previous owner said it worked well about 8 years ago. it was empty when i got the car, and made a huge clutter of the engine bay so i left it off. I will all go with the car if the new owner is interested in it. please feel free to ask questions or ask for photos of specific areas on the car. i can put the car up on the rack and take pics if desired. i am running dot 5 silicone brake fluid in both brake and clutch system, due to the higher boiling point, and the fact that it doesnt harm paint if you get a leak. new windshield and all new window rubbers as well.
