Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1990 Porsche 911 C4 Cabriolet. It has a 3.6L 247 Horsepower motor, a 5 speed manual transmission and all wheel drive. It is a fun and exciting car to drive. It has an Alpine AM/FM/Satellite radio with Boston Acoustics speakers. It has a passenger side airbag deactivation switch (for when my smaller children are in the car) Your opportunity for open air motoring for the summer and fall. I am the third owner, the first owned it for 7 years, sold it to an employee, and I bought it from him a year later. I have owned it since 1998, and it has always been serviced by either Hoffman Porsche or Musante Motorsports. (www.musantemotorsports.com). The car is always garaged, stored every winter, and has rarely seen rain, much less snow. It has new Bridgestone SO2 tires with approximately 4000 miles on them, new brake pads, 60,000 mile tune up, and a new clutch 12,000 miles ago. Body, top and mechanicals are in very good condition, no one can believe it is a 1990. The KBB book value is 16,900. I am planning on getting a 997 cab, so this one must go first. On Sep-24-10 at 11:23:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding to the car description due to some repetitive emails I have received. 1) I have all manuals, etc. The one missing item is the air compressor, and I have an aftermarket replacement in the car. 2) I have the boot, a bra, and a genuine Porsche car cover that is also included. 3) The car has not been involved in any accidents that I am aware of. I scraped the paint off the right front bumper a few years ago and needed that repainted. It did not need bodywork at that time. All other paint is original to the best of my knowledge. There is a small stone chip on the hood. 4) Top is wind tight, It did leak a couple of years ago, I had it adjusted by the same shop that does work for the local Porsche dealer, and it was resolved. Is tight for car wash and light rain, but I have never driven it in anything much heavier than a light rain. 5) Engine runs great; it has been nice weather here, so I have driven it virtually every day for the past 3 weeks, including a 300-mile trip to Boston last weekend. I have a minor oil leak, less than 1/2 quart this year (March to September). 6) No other major flaws.
