For sale : (Red), 1969 MGB project car. (Miles not sure shows 97000) ,4 cly with a 4 speed stick shift (does not have the overdrive style trans), car will run and move. Engine does not run the greatest, no knocks or banging but does smoke when you really rev high, (but car has also been sitting for alot of years could really use a good tune up ). I haven`t done anything to this car I only have it because a guy owed me money and he was going to be moving. I have a signed title (which is a reg in NY for that year car) and bill of sale from prev`s owner, but I didn`t put my name in who it was sold to, so you can put yours there. I will give a bill of sale from me. The car has been started to be restored, it has a hood and right fender and right side door on car was replaced, it must have been hit on that side but appears ok. I can see that the top of the rad support was hit and straightened but appears to be ok. Doesn`t look like any frame damage. I am not a body man but the rest of the car looks fine, there are small holes in floor pans both sides by were your feet would be, trunk and rest of pan look solid. Rad leaks . Car moves but has no brakes looks like broken brake line. car also needs ign switch and dash cover and a new rug set, these items I`ve seen on ebay for about $230 for everything.Right now car has a push button switch and a toggle switches so car starts and runs. Car has a almost brand new convertible top with rails and also a cover that covers top when down(see pic`s). Seats are in good shape, small seem starting to come apart on drivers seat but no dry rotting, pass seat good. If you buy this to part it out, I was told by a MG person that there are a alot of big $$ parts on car :( good dual carbs, top w/ rails, he told me that the exhaust on this car used goes for about 250, I guest its some type of upgraded system, the gauges in car are great shape$$, and alot of other misc parts emblems etc ). Have all 4 of the rims with rings and centers all in good shape . I was told that everything is with car to put back together: lights, door panels,chrome grill, chrome bumpers, rear chrome trunk lugage rack, all appear in good shape. have windshield (no cracks or scratchs). Car was starting to be redone thats why it looks apart. It`s almost ready for painting. Car is sold as is with no warrants writen or implied, all sales are final , reserve the right to end at any time car is for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel any bid.
