Look how well maintained this bike is. Father and son proudly owned it for it's first 39 years. Isn't it nice seeing something well cared for. Starts cold right away with a little choke. I have had the pleasure to take it out on some country roads so far and it purred... everything worked ... the lights, cables moved like new, brakes stopped perfectly, shifted great, clutch engages correctly, and it was smooth as I headed down the winding roads leaning back and forth. I had plenty of torque available, accelerating quickly with a just a twist of the throttle. I was told the bike is original except for the side covers (it was stated to me that the British aftermaket covers were sturdier than the orginals). There is a small 1/2" ding in the top left front area of the gas tank that's hard to see, especially because of the paint scheme. Comes with original tool kit and owners manuel. Also will pass along the Shop Manuel and Cycle magazine that I recieved. The bike featured in the article is the same color as this bike. The article raves the bike and contains all the stats in over 6 pages of review with lots of pictures.
