Please Note: Following the close of this auction (or any auction I initiate for that matter) I will not send second chance offers. If you recieve one, it is bogus. Should I not recieve an acceptable offer the car will simply be relisted unitl it sells. Thank you. This might be the best CLK63 Black Series Available! Bar none. Rare color (most are black or silver) Meticulously cared for Super low miles Renntech Headers/pipes (Renntech claims ~30-35bhp - cost = $8,000 installed; stock manifolds/pipes included) Owned by a "car nut"...... Look at the others and judge for yourself I've been offered what sound like some really nice cars in trade for my CLK63 BS but unfortunately the replacement for this car has already been ordered. It will be here in December and since I have limited garage space I am not able to make a trade work. Besides, my CFO says we have too many cars already.... :-) 2008 Mercedes CLK63 Black Series WDBTJ77H18F239739 - 1 of 367 (confirmed by Mercedes - any other claims are a guess by an uninformed seller) built for the US market. 6.3L 500 bhp beast! 0-60 in 4.1 seconds! Rare Arctic white (only 4 exterior colors available, red, black (standard black & obsidian black metallic), silver and white - 1 interior color) with black leather. Reportedly there are only ~40 Arctic White Clk63 Black Series of the 367 brought to NA. Like most Mercedes models, Silver and Black are the most prevalent colors. Car is in spectacular condition; the only flaw on the car is a damaged mounting bracket on the rear carbon fiber diffuser which is only noticable if you're on the ground looking up at it. I've been asked several times if the diffuser is broken. It is not. The damage is more superficial and only the clear topcoat is chipped off. See the picture below. Other than that, there are no chips, scratches, dings, wheels have not been curbed and there is no wear on the interior. No track, abuse, paintwork, damage history (other than noted prior) and more important no stories. Just turned 2,000 miles and the balance of the original 48 month Mercedes factory warranty (in service date was 09/15/2007) and 48k+ miles. The only option available on the CLK63 Black Series is/was an ipod connection and this car does not have the option. Adult driven (well mostly anyway.....) and never raced, tracked or otherwise abused. Garaged (not sitting outside on a lot somewhere....). Non-smoking owners. Service up to date and including differential fluid change has been done. The original factory stickers with break-in instructions have not been removed from the upper left corner of the windshield. We are second owners and bought the car with ~250 miles on it in April 2008. Car has been in the rain once. Inspections welcomed and encouraged. Additional features: Renntech headers and sound pipes (~$8,000 installed), Stock manifolds/secondary cats and pipes included H&R spacers on all four corners widen track 24mm on rear and 20mm on front (original lug bolts included) 3M clear film on all leading edges including front/rear fender arches and rocker panels Window tint AMG logos on wheels have been painted red If you're not familiar with why the CLK63 Black Series is so special please click the link below to learn more about it: Official Mercedes CLK63 Black Series micro site 09/21/2010 - Completely overlooked the fact that I never posted a copy of the window sticker....... 09/17/2010 - Couple new pics from Cars and Coffee this month: Watch the newly added vids! Here is a "walk around" video I did on 08/12/2010. I am not a pro at this but I shot it in HD with a new camera but unfortunately when uploaded to YouTube it loses the HD quality. I was quite impressed with the vid b/f I uploaded it....... In any case, here it is: (click the picture to view the video) My CLK63 Black Series has a very rare (and expensive....) set of Renntech Headers and secondary cat bypass pipes and sounds AMAZING! What a beast (Renntech says with this setup it's running ~535 bhp!) There are Mercedes Benz dealers that are Renntech dealers and this modification will not impact the original Mercedes warranty. Renntech quality easily matches and in my opinion surpasses the quality of the OE parts removed to do this install. To listen to a start up vid, please click the pic below: ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I reserve the right to end this auction at any time w/o notice as I have the car listed locally. I am not interested in selling to a dealer/broker at wholesale/trade in value. Please do not ask me what my lowest price I'll accept is; that's why I'm running a BIN of Best Offer auction format. If you are seriously interested, please make an offer. I do have an "auto reject" setup for offers I consider out of the range a serious buyer might make. I am serious about selling this beautiful car so I would really rather only deal with serious buyers. Thanks for reading. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Pictures below were taken 08/12/2010 This is how my Black Series is cleaned: 1. Only use quality products. Griots Garage is a good source. 2. I don't use the "two bucket" method b/c the car is never that dirty. 3. Never wash any car in the sun. 4. Whenever you touch your car with any type of cloth you are scratching the finish. I haven't dried the exterior of a car for ~8 years. I use a leaf blower to dry the car and when you see the finish it looks brand new. Why do I use a leaf blower? Q: what is the last thing your car goes through at the car wash? A: A blower. It makes a HUGE difference! Previous pictures from various dates: The 2 pictures below show the damaged bracket on the rear diffuser Renntech headers prior to install - these things are a work of art!!! The pictures below were taken today July 31, 2010. I had a set of O.Z. wheels on the car and took the pictures below when I switched back to the stock wheels to sell the car. I did not clean anything, this is how clean the car is right now...... I seriously doubt you will find a CLK63 Black Series any cleaner than mine and this is the underside and wheel wells.......!
