Up for sale is my 1986 m1009 Cucv. Heavy Duty and very dependable truck. All four tires have good tread. The spare looks brand new. No problems with 4 wheel drive. The blackout/blackout drive lights work as well. There is minor rust on the driver side rocker and a little on the tailgate. From a mechanical perspective, this truck is in great shape and has proven to be very dependable. Engine: Heavy Duty 6.2L Detroit Diesel J-Series V-8 EngineTransmission: TH-400 Automatic The following maintenance/repairs were recently performed in January 2010: * Installed the correct Wellman G070 Glow Plugs * Oil Change * Correct Air filter with foam wrap * Fuel filter * New Heavy Duty Farm&Truck 31A batteries * Replaced alternator belts and any questionable vacuum hoses. * Replaced Speedometer and cable. NOTE: I purchased this truck in December 2009 at a GSA Auction with 46256 miles on the odometer. I replaced the speedometer in January 2010 only because it was making a grinding noise. The speedometer was working fine when I purchased the truck and started to fail a few weeks after.
