Up for auction is a 1975 Honda Goldwing GL1000. It has approximately 39,000 miles on it. I purchased this bike as a project bike, but don't have the time to work on it. My loss is your gain. Some of the features are: Shaft drive optional kick start Vetter windjammer III upper & lower fairings Aftermarket rear adjustable air shocks Extra front "fat-boy" style fender (not shown in photo) Trunk (not shown in photo) Custom dual saddle The previous owner had started a custom paint job & never finished it. I was going to repaint the body parts white, but never got around to it. Note: this is a project bike & is NOT in perfect running condition. I have had it running, but it won't idle. I drove it across my yard & it appeared to shift OK. It appears that the carbs need to be cleaned & rebalanced. It did fire in order & revved smoothly when I last started it, but it does not start easily. The fuel pump gasket needs to be replaced. It needs a new battery. There may be more things required that I am not aware of. The front brakes have been reworked & are in good functioning order. The tires appear to be in very good condition. This would make a good parts bike or could easily be restored & put on the road. The parts alone are worth a lot. I have the title from the previous owner signed over to be sold. All you need do to register it is sign the buyer portion of the title. I never titled it myself & did not sign the buyer portion of the title. As far as I know, the title is clear. The purchaser is responsible for pickup &/or shipping. I do not have a way to transport the bike to any transfer or shipping point. I live in Albion NY.
