I SAID I'D NEVER SELL THIS, BUT I NEED THE MONEY TO BUILD A RACE MOTOR FOR THE BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS. THE BODY MODS, AND ENGINE FAMILY, PREVENT ME FROM RUNNING THIS COUPE IN THE BONNEVILLE CLASS THIS IS A VERY CLEAN COUPE, COMING OUT OF THE CALIFORNIA DESERT. IT HAS NO RUST! BODY IS COMPLETE, AND HAS A FORD 9" REAR END. I WAS BUILDING A HOTROD, AND HAVE MANY, HIGH DOLLAR PARTS FOR THE CAR, THAT GO WITH IT.IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL ME AT 970-216-2907. CAR IS ALSO LISTED LOCALLY, SO..... 2 JAGUAR IFS FRONT SUSPENSIONS 2 JAGUAR IRS REAR SUSPENSIONS(AT LEAST ONE IS POSI) CUSTOM DASH, WITH ALL ELECTRICAL ON HIDDEN BUTTON (SEE DASH), AND MATCHING DOOR PANELS RPM ENGINEERING FRONT DISC BRAKE CONVERSION($1600), IF YOU WANT TO STAY WITH STOCK FRONT SUSPENSION SAYERS-SCOVILLE STAINLESS NOSE CONE(ONLY 101 SETS MADE) THE DOOR AND TRUNK HANDLES HAVE SHAVED, HIDDEN HINGES INSTALLED, ALONG WITH BEAR CLAW LATCHES.I BUILT NEW METAL BUCKETS, AND THE WOOD PANEL FOR THE OPERA SEATS IN THE REAR.THE CAR NOW HAS A FORD 9" VERSAILLES DISC BRAKE REAR END IN IT. ASK QUESTIONS, COME SEE THE CAR, EMAIL ME, BUT DON'T PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS! On Aug-19-10 at 21:04:54 PDT, seller added the following information: HERE ARE SOME WICKED SPEED PARTS I HAD BUILT FOR THE ENGINE, BEFORE I DECIDED TO BUILD A FULL RACE ENGINE. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160471927532&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT On Aug-23-10 at 14:25:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I have tons of parts for this car, so if you need more pics, just ask! This is the cleanest coupe I've ever had. Here are some questions from the first time I listed the car: Q: can all the parts be loaded in car for transport Aug-23-10 A: Yes, they can- That is not a problem. I'll have to load the Jag parts first, then the rest. I would suggest, though, that the dash and gauges might be better to ship seperate. It's an expensive piece, and I'd hate to see it damaged. If the car sells, I'll pay to ship it seperate. Buddy Q: Hi, Clear title for correct year and make? Could you send pics of front disc brake install and 9" install please? I am in SW Missouri, so not very far from you. Thks-Steve Aug-19-10 A: The title is a good Colorado title, for this car, in my name. The disc brake conversion, from RPM Engineering, includes a frame mount brake booster, and the conversion is brand new in the boxes. I'm at work in Pennsylvania this week, so I'm unable to take pics of the rear end. Q: I seem to recall an article on HAMB about you building a wild flat head for this car..... Aug-19-10 A: That's correct. I'm still building the motor, as a full race Bonneville motor. I love this car, but unfortunately, the body mods that are done keep me from running this car in the class. I cannot afford to build both cars, so this one is foe sale. Q: interested in any trades? i have a 1963 nova SS convertibe runs and drives, 406 small block Aug-19-10 A: Wow, sounds like a very cool car! Normally, I'd be very interested, but I'm really selling this to build a Bonneville salt racer. Q: Hi, Are the original front seats there? Would you sell separatley from the car auction? If so, do you have a price and additional pics. Aug-19-10 A: Both the back Opera seats are there, along with the front seat, and all are in good condition. I'm not interested in parting this out, but thanks for asking. Q: so is there a engine with the car?....and if so is it the one pictured? Sep-01-10 A: No, there is not. The picture is simply of the speed parts. Q: Hi. Very interesting car. What shape is the chassis in? I would be rodding the car and am interested in your view as to the best way to get the front end down. Appreciate your help and really like the big coupe. Matt Sep-01-10 A: . Chassis is in great shape! I was going to put the Jag IFS in, to get the front down and for handling. Looks as if it is not going to sell for the reserve, so I'll put it away until after Bonneville next year, then finish it. Q: Do you have all the stock parts if I want to build her vintage. Do you have the dash, chrome, wheel covers, headlight bezels, soup to nuts Aug-31-10 A: I only have the custom dash. I have the chrome, headlight bezels, bit not the wheel covers.Soup to nuts? No idea there! On Aug-29-10 at 12:47:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Several people have emailed, and asked my reserve. The reserve is far less than half of what I have in it. Reserve is $6900. I just paid, and have receipts, for $2800 in the custom body mods, $450 for the new Stude tail lights, $1500 for the RPM Engineering front disc brakes, Over $1600 for the Rabbits dash and door panels, over $600 for the electric switches and relays for the electrical, over $300 for the '35 Plymouth gauges.I've turned down offers of $800 for the Sayers- Scoville nose pieces. This doesn't take into account one of the cleanest bodies you'll find, Halibrand Quick change, Jag IRS and IFS suspensions, the Ford 9", etc. It's well worth the money, for the body alone.Sand it and paint it-That's what the body needs. If the car doesn't sell for $6900, I'll put it away until I can work on it. It's honestly the cleanest body I've ever owned! On Sep-02-10 at 16:51:58 PDT, seller added the following information: SERIOUSLY, HAVE YOU GUYS LOOKED AT THE QUALITY, AND NUMBER OF HIGH DOLLAR PARTS HERE, NOT TO MENTION A RUST FREE COUPE?! THIS WAS REAL CLOSE TO SELLING! IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE CAR, YOU SHOULD COME AND LOOK AT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.
