Vehicle Detail
As the title states, up for sale is my 1995 Flash Red vr6 corrado. As some know it's very rare and one of only 87 brought into North America. On top of that, the car is an automatic transmission car making it even more rare than your average one. Here are the stats on it: VR6 189,000kms or approx 117,000 miles Automatic Transmission Sunroof Early style Grey Recaro seats Euro/Canadian Seat belts Driver and Passenger air bags (1995 was the only year this was available on the corrado) Flash Red The car is essentially stock right down to the suitcase muffler still being in the car. It's been well taken car of it's whole life and drives great. The car has had 4 owners over it's life, the first two were ladies and the last two were enthusiasts. Recent maintenance: Timing chains, guides, valve cover gasket, rear main seal, Cam follower New tires Fresh Oil change Tranny fluid and filter New front rotors and hawk pads New OEM rad New Oil pan, gasket New battery New Serp belt Plenty of little odds and ends throughout the car Car also comes equipped with a compustar paging alarm and auto start that was just installed recently. Engine is quiet and has plenty of power with nothing in the way of maintenace needed. Thereare two issues with the car currently, there is a small flake of clear coat (as seen in the pictures) and the auto tranny is slipping/leaking and will either need to be swapped out for a 5 speed or rebuilt. The car is in amazing shape from top to bottom. Everything works and works well! Spoiler works, sun roof works, runs cool, drives straight, etc. I would give the paint a 9.5 out of 10. It's about as perfect as you'll find. The small clear coat issue in the rear and a tiny scuff on the front bumper is all you can find. No rock chips up front, no door dings, scratches etc. The paint shines beautifully and looks amazing with not a touch of rust anywhere. The interior I would give a 9 out of 10. Other than a tiny little bit of bolster wear on the drivers seat and a tiny bit of wear on the steering wheel the interior looks great. Everything is complete and works and still lookes amazingly new as well. Engine/tranny I would give a 9 out of 10. It needs nothing aside from some tranny work, the rest of the car drives and runs amazing. The engine runs strong, pulls well and best of all has no issues or nagging things that need to be dealt with. Starts up on the first shot every time and drives like it just came off the show room floor. I've got a couple corrado's now and would like to get rid of this one. I've set the reserve for the car low because of the transmission problem, but this is a car you won't want to miss.
