Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1967 MGB-GT Special Edition. According to published information, there were only 1000 of these made to commemerate the first year of the GT series. This car is painted in it's original Mineral Blue color and has a black interior with light blue piping. Features of this MG are as follows: Excellent driver quality car. Very good paint. No visable rust. The driver and passenger floors have some weak spots, but the floors would not have to be replaced. Rear shocks have been upgraded to tube type which greatly improves the ride. Engine has been rebuilt. Although I do not have details on this, the engine runs extremely well; good oil pressure; starts fast; will run up to red line with no faltering. Carbs were rebuilt last winter. Brakes work as they should. Parking brake holds on a grade. Excellent tires and wheels (spare tire has not been used). All tires match. Wheels have been replaced. Nice sounding exhaust. Interior is good. Some trim/weather stripping could be replaced. The head liner has a bad spot. Seats are decent. Carpets are very good. Has nice AMCO style rubber mats. The front king pins have been rebuilt; the suspension is very solid. Has original Owner's Manual and a repair manual. Includes an original jack, lead hammer, and storage bag. Spin on oil filter. Detailed engine bay This MG is a great driver. There are some things that are showing age, but nothing that prevents the car from being used as is or used and fixed up to a higher standard without having to take it off the road.
