1980 Triumph TR7 The car runs and drives very, very well. The engine runs strong and has twin SU HD6 carbs. The five speed gearbox shifts very smooth, clutch engages properly through all gears. The tires and top are new. It also has a top boot in great condition and a tonneau cover that is in very good condition. The seats are original and great condition too. The gauges all work - clock & radio tend to start & stop on occassion though. Speedo is accurate, but needle bouces a little. It has a beautiful Nardi steering wheel. The dash is nice as well as the console and door panels - ALL are without cracks. She starts up easily and runs like the wind. The body is solid and has had some touch ups but is very presentable. It would present itself well at any British car show or Cruise-In. A lot of fun and the price is as good as it gets for a TR7 convertible as good as this one. Only 66,532 original miles and ready for the road. The story on this little gem is quite simple. I bought it not long ago for a good friend to enjoy in his last days before succumbing to a long battle with health problems. We both have been long time British Car fans (hence my name Team Lotus) and he never had the chance to have and enjoy a TR7. These cars are much easier to drive and enjoy thaan the Lotus Esprits in the garage. Well the enjoyment was had, the battle is over and it's time to let go.
