The high mileage is due to this being a commuter for a daily 50 mile highway run for 5 years as well as some memorable road trips to New Orleans (pre-Katrina!), New York City, Toronto and Washington D.C. (twice). This car was given its 3000 mile services religiously and gave zero trouble except the A/C going south in 2009 when we moved to Georgia from Indiana (serious duty cycle required in this hot & high humidity zone). This was fully refurbished by J.C. Lewis Ford and is currently running like new. My wife loved this car, but since the arrival of our baby boy, we stuck it out for a year before deciding on a 5 door to eliminate the pain of loading / unloading the car seat with a 25lb tyke. The interior is in great condition due to a habitual weekly vacuum and wipe session. Minor discrepancies: Rear view side mirror adjustment button is missing – hand adjustable, so no real inconvenience. Rust spots -mainly on the RH passenger door bottom edge and hatch rear door lower edge as well as a few tiny nicks on the hood – treated with anti-rust, so should be good for years to come. The rear RH side carpet has two small (dime size) holes in it – covered by rear removable carpet, so not visible. All and all in great shape considering it's age & milage. This car is super dependable and will get you there every time. After all, it’s one of Ford’s most successful models. Worldwide. Payment: I have the title in hand.
