2005 Dodge Cummins Diesel crew cab with 176K miles. No reserve auction. NR. Clean great looking truck with a clean title. Aftermarket wheels/tires. There is a small dent on the left rear bottom of the lower corner under taillight about the size of your fist and a small door ding on the other side about the size of a dime. Other than that the body is very clean. Interior is very clean as well with tan cloth interior that has been well taken care of. I drove the truck myself to make sure the tranny etc. was all good and it ran great. Tons of power and is definitely a cool looking truck. The negatives are as mentioned the small dent and the truck smokes quite a bit when you start it up. It struggles a little to start. When driving down the road there was not a large noticeable trail of smoke like when it started up. There were two new refurbished deep cell batteries put in it a couple months ago. Truck was bought for a friend who doesn't have any funds to put into the truck to have it gone through and looked at thoroughly to see what is needed by a good diesel shop. 2 backyard mechanics say different things, one says needs a new fuel injector and the other says needs 2 or engine work. We dont know exactly. Truck is being sold as is where is with no refunds or returns or warranties. Truck is listed locally by a Salt Lake dealer #5138 Westernstates for around $12K or offer/trade so the right to end the auction early is reserved for a good offer but will be directing buyers to the ebay auction as well. Utah buyers will need to pay UT sales tax etc. but not out of state buyers. I did a little research and I was told a couple things. When the truck went through an auction earlier this year the auction employee was checking in the truck and wrote down the mileage slightly off a bit like switching 2 numbersin the last 3 digits (so for example 176,150 on the docs but odometer reads 176,510) so the auction has to put mileage discrepency even if it is off by a small amount. That gives this a bad score. Unfortunately it was laziness but the truck definitely matches that mileage. Anyway, that is what I was told on this even though I dont know for sure. Hope that helps.
