You will not find a nicer lower mileage 7.3 Powerstroke Excursion. The Auto check shows this vehicle to have two previous owners but the vehicle was in the original owners company name and then bought out of the company by him personally so in reality it was always the same owner. This vehicle was always garaged kept in his climate controlled garage and barely ever saw a snow flake. The undercarriage is extremely clean. The vehicle was always Ford dealer maintained and meticulously cared for by the original owner. This vehicle has around $4,500 worth of professionally installed aftermarket electronic equipment. Factory options on the truck include power windows, locks, AC, tilt, cruise, overhead trip computer, remote power heated tow mirrors, quad captains chairs with the fronts being heated and power, third row seating, rear AC and heat, and two tone Eddie Bauer leather. The aftermarket items installed on this vehicle include a Pioneer flip out head unit with DVD multimedia navigation analog TV with back up camera and video plugs in front middle and rear, 600 watt power inverter with plugs available to all passengers, flip down larger screen DVD for rear passengers, base amplifier with every factory speaker replaced with aftermarket speakers. hands free cell kit with Cobra CB radio, front driving lights with two position dash mounted switch for yellow or white light. Performance items installed on the vehicle include a Western Quad adjustable power chip and a pillar mounted Banks pyrometer gauge ( exhaust gas temperature guage). The only draw back to the Western Quad chip is that being installed on the vehicle causes the theft light to blink at start up and for a short time after. The Excursions have a Passive anti theft system which the chip interferes with. The chip was Ford dealer intstalled. It has been in the vehicle since 2003 and has never caused a failure to start. The only way to stop the theft light from blinking is to remove the Western Chip. This can be confirmed by googling 03 Excursion theft light blinking with performance chip and reading some of the diesel forums. We did not remove the chip because it really works well in the vehicle and can make it get up to 23mpg on the highway.
