1995 BMW 525i Touring Wagon 2nd owner (since 2004) Entire service record available upon request from shop that's serviced it since 1st owner (Bavarian Professionals, Berkeley, CA). Mileage is an estimate as coding plug has failed several times and, in the process, has erased mileage info. Estimate is based on 129k+ miles upon purchase in 2004 and light driving of no more than 7,500 miles/year since. Again, there will be no accurate mileage info but the estimate should be close. Additionally, as a result of the electrical issue, fuel and temperature gauges do not function. Purchaser could replace motherboard and potentially solve the coding plug problem; however, I've been told that this is no guaranteed solution. Other minor electrical nuisances are rear driver's-side door lock does not operate with the central locking system; both rear windows temperamental w/r/t functioning. Only other significant issue to address is the rear shocks/struts should be replaced as they're worn and produce a squeak while driving. Body condition: generally good; paint faded in spots; miscellaneous dings on passenger side And that's the "bad and the ugly." Now for the "good." Drives well, dependable (keeping in mind the non-functioning fuel gauge), and safe. Significant repairs/replacements during my ownership: April 2007 - Radiator replaced Sept. 2005 - Front brakes replaced March 2006 - Transmission replaced July 2007 - Battery replaced November 2009 - Steering lock assembly replaced Additional features: 6-CD changer mounted in rear I am happy to answer further questions.
