This is a 1976 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT. This vehicle is an original California blue plate car that has been in dry storage in California & Colorado since 1997. It is virtually rust free & an excellent example of the mark. It shows 84,000 miles on the odometer, but I am not sure of the actual miles. It has recently been restored to road condition and is beautiful! There aren`t many of these left and very few in this kind of condition. There are a list a things new & replaced which are as follows; Chassis : Koni front shocks, Shankle aftermarket sway bars, 2-1/2" stainless steel exhaust & Magnaflow muffler, new center carrier & donut, 2 brake calipers replaced, new rear axle boots, new fuel line & fuel tank flush, redline synthetic gear oil, new GTV 6 style rubber set windshield & rear deck lid & rubber set glass, new battery, new transaxle & DeDion mounts, new rear hatch strut, new ignition switch, new brake & clutch master cylinders. It has the original up grade ultra light Chromodora wheels & lug nuts & newer tires. Also, the front suspension has been lowered to Euro spec ride height for better handling & performance. Engine : The car came with a Jafeco turbo/intercooled 2L engine (available separately- call or email for price) that has been replaced with a spider engine from a terminally rusty `76 spider. It has a completely rebuilt head including valve grind & new guides & seals, new rod & main bearings, new water pump, new temp sender, new front & rear crank seals, rebuilt radiator & new cap, replaced the starter, new electronic distributor, spark plugs & wires. Installed steel racing style exhaust headers. Also has a new thermostatic actuator, main & auxilary fuel filters & the fuel pump & injection pump have been replaced, as well. Interior : New leather shift knob, recently installed Recaro seats, Momo leather steering wheel, new stereo/CD player & speakers, & it also has a bolt in roll bar. The carpet & door panels are in good original condition, as well. The vehicle also has new exterior mirrors, new wiper blades & the addition of hard to come by front & rear aftermarket spoilers. Of course, the dash is cracked, but it has a dash mat installed to keep the interior looking great. This is truly a one of a kind with the rare Okra color & non rusty California condition. It has the usual weak 2nd gear synchro situation, but after the red line gear oil warms up, it runs and drives great! I have all repair records for the car from `84 until now. It is not currently equipped with smog equipment as that is not required for El Paso County, Colorado, but I have all the equipment to return it to smog condition such as air pump & bracket, pump filter, original air filter box & straps, air injection rail & check valve, etc., with the exception of the catalytic converter. You will not find a nicer or more rust free Alfetta than this one. The car is being sold as is where is and prepurchase inspections are welcome & encouraged.
