O.K.,I'm going to admit it.I'm addicted to EBAY.I'mm a shopaholic.I enjoy the rush of having the high bid or pushing the BUY-IT-NOW button.I buy cars that i thought i always wanted without regards to whether i will complete the restoration ,or have the roomor time to do so. So here i'm offering up one of my impulse purchases.This car has a lot of potential.It runs and could be a daily driver(not currently registered),but has a clean calif. title.The stock Y-block is still in the car along with the original MERC-O-Matic trans.Evert thing is there ,even the stock oil bath air cleaner.I removed the gas tank,had it cleaned,and sealed and re-installed it.I installed a new master cylinder,new rubber brake hoses(lt.&rt.front) ,the rear one on the axle.I installed new wheel cylinders all four corners.New spring kits on all four corners,and new riveted brake shoes all four corners.The interior is i believe the stock materials.I have the original radio,the original fender skirts,and the extra parts seen in the pics.The body has mostly surface rust.The left side Quarter panel has a 20-30 year old repair where the filler is cracking and a small piece has fallen out.The new fillers of today wouldn't do that.This is an easy fix.The passenger door has a dent,easy fix.All the glass is good,no bubbles and the windows roll up and down as they should.The left rear quarter window has a crack(flat glass) easy fix.Even the original dome light still works.Old MERCS have beautiful line and this car would be a beautiful driver.
