1997 Ford F-150 Supercab 4x4 Truck You are bidding on a 1997 Ford F-150 in good used condition with 162,621 miles. We purchased in April 2008 and have replaced intake gaskets, spark plugs and plug wires, muffler, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, rear axle bearings, two control arm assemblies, and lower ball joints. We added a steel step welded to frame on drivers side. The AC compressor has been removed and a bypass pulley is installed. We just had the vacuum lines replaced on the four wheel drive and replaced the drivers side rear tire. Since we have owned the truck, the check engine light has been on. Also, the airbag warning light does not go off. The air conditioning has been bypassed as per above. The 3 BF Goodrich tires have significant wear. The rear tailgate has minor to moderate dents near the Ford symbol. Since we have owned the truck, there is a slight odor of antifreeze when you run the heater. The power steering pump can whine sometimes during turning. The column shifter has a lot of "play" and is positional. The interior has minimal wear, a few cracks, and a small hole to drivers seat. The body is in good condition with a few small scattered scratches. The paint is slightly faded but has a nice shine. Only one small area of surface rust to drivers door and on wipers. We want to be very accurate in the description of the vehicle. We have owned the truck since 2008 and it has been very reliable. All sales are final. We ask for a $300 deposit when auction is completed and the rest in cash upon pickup of the vehicle. The truck must be picked up within 2 weeks of completed auction.
