Hello , you are viewing a 1968 SWB Porsche 912 5 spd in good condition . I have had this car for 8 years and I do not drive it . It is in good driving condition . It uses little oil . It does not smoke at all . Maybe a very small spot on driveway . The tires are Michelin and have better than 50 % tread left . The spare matches the other four wheels and has good tread also . I have been advised it may need a carb update in future to maximise performance . The carbs were just adjusted . The car has a Crane electronic ignition that works well . The five speed transmision shifts without flaw and a short shift kit is in place . The shocks are fine and this car is very tight . Not a rattle trap or smoker . The glass is good but the windshield does have a small chip . The paint is a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 . The body shop found and repaired one small rust spot about the size of a dime just in front of the passenger side door . The quality of the repair is also a 5 . Other than that the body is free of dents and dings and the trim is in good condition . The headliner is in good condition . Especially considering the car is 42 years old . The car recently had front and rear main seals replaced . Also a new starter . It just had the ignition switch replaced with one from a 911 . It needs a 912 switch in order for the guages and radio to work properly . The car starts fine every time . The seats are out of a 911 . They have decent seat covers on them . They need to be reupholstered . New gray carpet which is nice . The floor pans are perfect . The car steering is tight like it should be . For the price I consider this to be a very decent car worthy of a total restoration . Car is sold as is where is with no warranty .
