This 1989 XJS was victim to an engine fire while being driven by the previous owner; it is good for full restoration or parts only. The body is in fair shape, with a little rust here and there, but is not nearly as bad as the rust on the 83 I also have listed here. Obviously, the hood is toast. However, the frame on this car is the nicest XJS frame I have ever seen on an original car, and I have looked at many. It came from Maryland, and was not likely driven in snow. The tires are ok, but are beginning to dry rot. Yes, I do have the fourth matching rim, (which is really an xj6 rim), but the spacer for it was broken, so I got the chassis rolling how I could. The interior is in lousy shape on the whole. If one were to take this car, along with the 83 XJS that I also have up for auction on here, a nice car could be made. That was my original plan, but I have too many projects. Or, you could put a 350 in it, fix the body and interior, and have a sweet classic.
