i am selling my 2004 crf450r dirtbike. this is one of the cleanest,most reliable bikes on ebay. i hate to have to sell it but i must buy a new motor for my car and i just dont have enough time to go riding due to college and a job. ill start off by saying this is a clean bike, which i have owned for the last couple years.i am 3rd owner. 1st owner bought it,it had way to much power for him and he put a 15+ounce flywheel on it to help slow it down and a few other things,then sold it to one of my friends(2nd owner).he was a mechanic and worked on cars and took excellent care of the bike,thats why i bought it from him but the second owner kept it for about 5 years and then i bought it. ive recently rebuilt the entire head,not b/c of a blown motor but due to maintence and i wanted to race it but never had time to. motor work was around 800(fresh cut head,new stainless valves,seats,springs,and retainers) motor work was done at elk river powersports in tennessee by engine builder james stroud about a year ago. i have reciept somewhere and will try to find it. always changed the engine oil about every 8 hours with amsoil synthetic racing oil and trans every 2 engine oil changes and have ran only shell 93 gas in it since the head rebuild. ive always taken great care of my bikes.this 450 is my 4th and by far the cleanest and fastest. again i really dont want to sell this thing but i have another more important project. now for the add ons,bike was built to be an offroad bike over an mx bike but this thing can handle either one. first off i had the suspension revalved by proaction and resprung for 170lb rider about 5 or 6 rides ago. springs are eichbach,yes same company that makes car suspension. if you weigh 170 or about 30 plus or minus this bike will handle like a dream,if not it will handle great and i also have extra shock and fork springs.suspension alone cost 750 and is always retuneable.engine>>fmf powerbomb header and fmf muffler with baffle removed,twin air filter,boysen hotshot pump on carb as well as a after market fuel screw,15+ounce flywheel(makes all the power more controlable) also have stock flywheel, fairly new barnett clutch.body and protection>>black rims and red hubs,skid plate,radiator guards,carbon fiber header guard,carbon fiber tank cover,also have carbon fiber fork wraps(not in pics)but very nice and included,cyra probend handguards,new kevlar gripskickstand that mounts inbetween the footpegs(currently off due to i dont like extra weight),asv,brake lever and clamp,protaper bars(a little bent but not bad) ball bearing throttle tube,ceet tall seat with gripper cover,fastway engine guard,trimetal rear sprocket(guarante for life,this was on here when i bought bike and still has shown NO wear) renthal front sprocket with renthal oring chain.sprockets and chain in great shape,little if no wear.new brakes on rear,fronts are fairly new. im sure ive left something out. bike runs great and starts on every 1st or 2nd kick in the summer an usually 3rd kick in winter.always washed properly and stored in my garage. bike is available 2 see and start anytime an serious buyers may ride it. im throwing in everything that i have for the bike,all spare parts,a few bottles of oil i have left,extra oil filter,plastics,some new and used.i live in gurley al 35748.15 min from huntsville. i will help buyer with shipping and i can drive to help deliver the bike. only problem with bike is a slightly warped rear fender and small crack in corner subframe(not bad it has been there ever since ive owned it),and bars are a little following information:i forgot to mention bike also has aluminum caliper guard and aluminum resorvoir guard. this motor has tons of compression and has a lot of torque. i would not recomend this for a young child because it does take a strong kick 2 start it due to the compression,which is a good thing but again would be hard for a young kid. and kickstand works perfectly,i just took it off because i have a triangle stand to hold it up.triangle also goes with bike as well as a 5 gallon gas jug and anything else related with the bike. the weird pic looking into the motor shows the blue aftermarket fuel screw(makes starting easier and you can tune it threw the seasons and also you can see the boysen pump attached to the bottom of the carb(helps acceleration and prevents motor bog)On
