Vehicle Detail

I am selling this convertible. It is a project car and it was in the line up of camaros to be restored. It has the #'s match 327 that was running with a powerglide tranny. A full floor pan will need to be installed. The trunk has been patched. The rockers will need replaced. At least one quarter will need replaced. The shock tower mounts are ok. The seats have no rips and would not need to be replaced. The windshield is bad. The inner fenders are not included. It is not a power top but it does have air conditioning! The compressor is not on the motor. The car is not driveable and is not running at this time. The fuel pump, gas tank, and battery would need to be installed. I have a ton of extra parts for this car. This car will basically need every panel replaced. I do have the protecto plate for the car. It was a plain jane camaro convertible. But it is plain jane so you can do whatever you want with it. Good luck! On Sep-09-10 at 20:16:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Some more info on the car. It is a numbers matching car with original engine, tranny powerglide with dual gate shifter, and 10 bolt rear end. I have the original protecto plate warranty card with original owner and dealership name it was Long Cheverolet in Lake Forest, Illinois. I have all the previous owner's names and some title info and years. Car does have power steering and a power top. I thought it was a manual top but it is not and is not working at this time. The car ws orginally PNT 52 B, garnet red with a black top and a black interior. Car was built the second week of December 1968. The engine was completely rebuilt several yrs ago and has been in storage since. Floors, fenders, and metal dash need replaced. I have a new metal dash that goes with the car. The rear frame rails are ok. The trunk has had some patch work done to it. The tail section has a dent in it from when the car was pulled from a ditch. Brakes have been redone. It needs a new top, windshield, and exhaust past the manifolds. The seats have no rips and would just need a good cleaning. I was going to put a fuel injected engine in the car. I am reasonable on the car. I have receipts from classic industries for over $1400. in parts. I have a paper history that will go with the car. These cars are getting hard to find and unfortunately it is not in better condition. Car has had quarters replaced on it before and I would suggest doing it again. Bid with confidence. The reserve is low. Good luck. Feel free to ask more questions and if you can call if you would like. I live in the central time zone. 402 575 1203 Jon
