Sorry for that but I am tired of spending my money and time relisting for those NON-Paying bidders out there who don't care. I am selling a 78 Cutlass that I had bought last year with hopes of fixing it up, but to many projects and not enough time. The car has a 260 V-8 with a recently rebuilt TH350 transmission that works great. The motor could use a tune-up, I wasn't that worried about it since I had bought a different engine to replace the 260. The nice thing about the 260 engine is that you can easily replace it with a 350 or 403 since all of the brackets are the same which is what I had planned on doing but just don't have the time. The good, rebuilt TH350 transmission, new shocks front and rear, new water pump, raditor dip and flush, new rear brakes, new battery, good tread on tires on factory original rims, new headliner, still a good complete car not all messed up. The bad, the engine needs a tune-up and or carb rebuild if you plan on keeping the 260 engine, has rust at bottom of passenger side window (see picture), dent on the top passenger fender (see picture), the seat has some bad stains on the passenger front, paint is starting to buble from rust on the drivers rear quarter. NOTE: The wheels and steering wheel in the pictures are not included in the auction. The factory 14" wheels will be on the car that are painted to match with good tires, the steering wheel will be replaced with the factory original Please ask questions, I will try to respond as quick as possible. The car is for sale locally and the auction may end if a reasonable local offer is received The vehicle will need to be picked up within 7 days of end of auction unless other arrangements have been made, Thanks On Jul-15-10 at 02:24:25 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a couple of questions, the windshield is cracked, The AC system is complete, the bearing on the compressor is rough probably why the belt is off, I would assume the AC system would need some work to make it operateable. I was asked if the car would make a 600 miles trip, don't know, you never know with any car it has never left me stranded. I would give it a tune-up and/or possiblely a rebuilt carb before driving it that far. I might be able to deliver the car to certain locations, this must be agreed upon prior to bidding and paid for prior to delivering the car. Feel free to ask questions, Thanks
