This bike is located in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, which is about an hour North of the U.S Border at Niagara. This bike has never been registered in Canada, and has a clear signed Indiana Title with a Bill of sale dated 1999. Plus a bill of sale to me from the owner, so a paper trail is established. This should make it very easy to import into the U.S, or i guess take it home. I purchased it some time ago from a gentleman who received it as part of an estate in 1999. Since then the bike sat in a heated garage until i aquired it. I installed a new battery, checked levels, cleaned the carbs and away she went. For safeties sake i also ran some 2 stroke oil in the gas, but the injection system seems to work fine. I rode it around my area, she shifted and braked as it should. Now she has started to "bog" so needs another carb cleaning, which would make a great Winter project. This bike is in as far as i can tell stock and original condition, even has the high back rest. There is some light frosting on some of the bright surfaces, but very minor. The paintwork is really nice, with great lustre. No sun fading due to years of storage. The only parts that i would replace, or re chrome are the rear shock springs. This is a very nice low mileage candidate for a ride as is (after carb attention), or a complete restoration. The attached pictures show the bike as it is now having been taken today. I require a non refundable $500.00 deposit at the auctions end, balance within seven days. I will gladly store the bike for the buyer at no charge until arrangements can be made to collect it, as long as it is paid in full as stated. All shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer, but i will happily work with your shipper. The reserve price is the same as the buy it now price. On Sep-08-10 at 06:06:35 PDT, seller added the following information:There seems to be much false and misleading information re obtaining an Ontario Title. Some of which is being used in an attempt to get me to lower an already ridiculously low price. I called Canada Customs Border Services at my local airport on Tuesday, and if you attend their office with the bike so that they can physically confirm the VIN, and with the paperwork that i have they will legally import the bike upon payment of sales taxes. You may then obtain an Ontario Title. This is for those who want to keep the bike in Canada. For those who wish to take it back to the U.S. it already has a U.S. Title. I will honor this listing, but should the bike not sell, i will obtain the Canadian Title. The price will be adjusted next Spring in that case to where it should be in the high two's. So please no more attempts to "steal" the bike, i don't need the $, just the room, but i am not a fool.
