Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a beautiful example of the classic Z Car. This one came from the crew chief of a professional stock car team... this was his daily driver. The car started out as a super clean, rust free, low mileage, California Z and was enhanced by its previous owners and me... all Z lovers. I believe the current miles to be original but have no way to document it as it is only a 5 digit odometer. Judging by the condition of the car it is quite possible. Within the past 7000 miles the drive train was rebuilt, up-graded and interior restored. Several enhancements were added as well. The car looks, runs, and drives excellent. Awesome cruiser, show car, or daily driver. This car has none of the common 260Z issues... all were addressed and then some. As I said the previous owner was a life long race car mechanic / crew chief... working with cars is his passion. Although nothing was "worn out" he went through this car and rebuilt, restored, or replaced everything in order to make it a top notch, reliable, daily driver for his personal use. Original 2.6 big valve motor was gone through and top end rebuilt as well as the original 4 speed trans, drive line, and suspension. Holley 4 barrel carb with Clifford intake replaced the troublesome dual carb set up. This is the hot set up for this car and is much more tunable and reliable than the stock set up and gives better performance all around. A mild street cam was added as well as tubular headers and magniflow exhaust. An aluminum, 4 core, competition grade radiator with temp controlled fan replaced the stock cooling set up. U joints and drive line were replaced as well as the brakes all around. The car starts, runs, idles, and drives excellent... sounds awesome. Shifts perfect through the gears. Drives straight down the road and feels solid... no clunks, bumps, shimmies, rattles, or shakes. This Z has no rust and the body is extremely straight. It had an excellent quality paint job two owners ago. Paint was a custom multi stage job... appears black with just slightest hint of blue pearl/metallic only in certain light... looks awesome. Paint has held up well and shows only minor scratches and nics. It did get keyed :(... and I had the hood and cowl repainted. People go crazy for this car... I get complements and comments on it constantly. The interior is mostly original and in excellent condition. Seats were redone and are perfect. Carpet has been replaced and shows new. Has a decent stereo and original A/C. All gauges work except of course the clock. It has the high quality molded dash cover and the soft cover. Panels, etc. look great. Could use a few rubber moldings. Overall, this is an excellent, beautiful Z. It is reliable and really fun to drive and can be used and enjoyed with confidence. It is ready for local shows now and with just a little work could compete at the big shows. Awesome cruiser. The car is located in Beverly Hills CA.
