It was shipped to the US in 1985 and it is titled as a 1985. It is in great shape and it comes with all the European features that you do not see on any of the other 300 series cars here in the US.eBay will not accept my VIN since it is a European VIN. The correct VIN is WDB1231301A248684The state of Maryland lists the car as a 1985 but it is actually a 1984The car is in great shape and has all the European features that include the Metric Dashboard, the front license plate, the headlights, etc. It has it all.The owner of the car is my Brother In-Law and he has done all the maintenance and kept up with anything that it needed. He just replaced the front brakes, calipers and rotors.The AC was retrofitted to R134.It was purchased in 2007 with 173,000 Kilometers and it now has 210,000 kilometers. That makes it 136,000 miles. That is a low mileage diesel!The interior is near as perfect as can be. To be perfect it needs a dash pad. The visors could be replaced also.The body is in great shape and it is just starting to rust under the bumpers in the corners. There is wax in those areas to show the rust in the photos. The rust has no holes but it will soon if they are not repaired. They area easy repairs but need to be done soon. There is a slight dent in the rear quarter from a parking lot swipe.No rust under the car at all. Floors are solid, the rockers are solid, and the frame is solid. The usual places that the 300’s are known to rust have not started on this car.The car runs great and with no issues at all. The car is strong and there is no turbo! This is a rear car to have no turbo and with automatic transmission.The buyer of this car can come pick it up and drive it anywhere! It is complete and in 100 percent operation.I talked my Brother in Law into letting me offer it with no reserve so bid it up so he does not get mad at me.
