1983 Honda CM250c

This is a great beginner bike. This model is noted as being easier fror new riders to handle than the Nighthawk or Rebel. It started life as a Shriner bike in Omaha; hence the extra chrome. Most recently it has been used in a Rider Education course. It has the cosmetic bumps and bruises you would expect from this use, but no major damage. It starts and runs well. It does smoke a little when the engine is cold, but seems OK once the engine is warmed up. The upholstery is good and all the lights work and both mirrors are good. It has been modified to accept the sealed battery. The speedometer was replaced at 6,416 miles and the new one reads 1,488 for the total 7,409 miles listed. I am confident that is the correct mileage. The front tire has decent tread and the rear is excellent. This is a bike that you're likely to get most if not all your money back when you're ready to step up to a larger machine. Please feel free to e-mail or call with any questions.
