You can tell by how well the car was preserved and how crisp and clean the documents are this car was babied the way anyone of us would want our car to be. Theres nothing to hide on this SWEETHEART 1972 RIVIERA !! I almost dont know where to start. This car is the real deal unrestored RIVIERA that looks to have been in a time capsule. I got the car from the original owner. The car comes with every piece of documentation you would want. The Buick was purchased new and delivered to the First retail purchaser ( John Deery Buick Opel, Inc, Cedar Falls, Iowa 01-29-72. The owners titled the car on 02-02-72. The owner advised her husband traded in his convertible 1967 Buick Wildcat for the Riviera. The orginal dealer trade in allowance and sales contract is in the documentaion of the car. The owner told me they drove the car until 1992 and they parked it and only started it once or twice a year to drive around the block. They advised the Buick was always garage kept and thats appearent by its condition. The last license plate on the car was 1992. The owner said the Buick has never had anything done other than regular maintenence. Its never been repainted. Its never been hit and no dents !! The body is amazing !! ITS ALL ORIGNAL STOCK!! The Bumper and all the chorme is perfect with no pits or dings. It amazing how perfect the chrome is. Engine: Original clean 455-4 barrell engine !! The car got an oil change, new plugs, points and condensor and a fuel pump. It fired right up and not a bit of smoke. I got in it and it drove like a NEW CAR. It was amazing!! It starts on first crank and purrs like a kitten. The owner SIGNED and advised the miles are absolutely correct. There is even a statement signed by owner verifying miles along with reciepts. Interior: The door panels are stunning. All power windows work and seats are PERFECT !! I dont think you could find a more perfect interior in an original car ( or even a restored one) !!. The interior is MINT!! The carpets were covered with rugs and when I removed them and vaccumed the carpet its awesome. The dash is MINT not a single crack or any fading. The dash is beautiful and clean. Everything works great. Radio, clock it all works like new. I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW AMAZING THE INTERIOR/THE CAR IS !! The body is incredible. There is one very small spot on rear quarter that has a small bubble of crust. Other than that the car is LASER staright with all original body panels and parts. The hood has a couple oxidation spots that I'm sure a buffer would lift out. But again it ORIGNAL AND IT AMAZING !! The car looks SWEET !! Original spare tire still in the trunk. The trunk is rock solid and beutiful. The rims are stock as well as the rest of the car. I know it still looks good in the pictures but I cant say enough on rich and brown the interior looks also the exterior. I dont think the pictures show how awesome the interior is. The car is incredible and you will be thrilled when you see this car in person. I think people often make their cars look better in pictures than in person.
