Untitled 2 PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BIDDING - There are 40 photos of the vehicle below. You are bidding on a clean 1988 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL Sedan. Smoke Silver Metallic over Light Brown/Java Leather. It has 160,793 miles at the time of this ad. It is offered at NO RESERVE and will be sold to the high bidder. We are relocating and cannot take the car with us. The car needs to be out of my possession by next Tuesday, September 7th. If you cannot arrange to come get the car in person or make shipping arrangements to have it picked up by the above date, please do not bid. There are a few shipping companies that have shipping terminals and I would be more than happy to take the car to the closest terminal here in Las Vegas at no charge. The GOOD:Within the last year I installed new accumulators, new tires, new plugs and wires, new alternator and new windshield. Just last week I had the car checked out, fluids replaced, air conditioning recharged (blows ice cold!). All power seat functions, heated seats, sunroof, outside digital temperature gauge and all other gauges work just as they should. The dash and all wood trim are in great condition with no cracks. This car has been regularly serviced and maintained. I am the 4th owner and the previous 2 owners were close friends of mine. Comes with all of the service books and manuals as seen in the photo, full size spare and tools. Comes with a Sony CD/MP3 player with USB output to plug-in your iPod or iPhone. The car is currently registered in CA which is good through Jan 2011. I have a clean and clear CA title. The car is ready to go. The BAD: There is some bolster wear on the lower drivers side seat. Otherwise the seats are in great condition considering the age and mileage. There are two vertical creases in the rear driver side along the roof line. I am not sure what caused this but I contacted a dent-removal place and they looked at it and said it would be $200-$300 to get it mostly pulled out. The worst part, unfortunately about 2 months ago I came out of a store and someone scraped the driver side rear fender and fenderwell while in the parking lot (see photos). It appears they hit it either pulling out or pulling in next to the car and just judged it wrong. There was no note left or anything and it wasn't worth it to put it through insurance so it is what it is now. I was able to color-sand most of the blemishes out but the paint did crack when it was hit and the fender and fenderwell did get dented. I am sure with some TLC it could be pulled out. Other than that the car has some minor rock chips and blemishes on the hood and trunk you'd expect from a 160k mile car. The paint still has a very nice clearcoat finish and when the car is cleaned and waxed is still has an amazing finish and shine to it. Thanks for looking!
