Vehicle Detail
. 1969 CAMARO Z28 TRIBUTE This dark blue metallic car is a tribute to the classic Z/28 302 high performance. Z/28's set alot of racing records back in the day. This was originally #10 paint code car with a 711 trim code - black on black. This is a 1969 GM color. I believe the car was completely restored in '07. I purchased the car at an auction and I have fixed everything that needed attention and completely detailed the car from top to bottom. I am sure this is a solid car with no rust issues. I will be happy to answer any questions you have by phone . I stay very busy and sometimes do not get around to my email. The good thing about the phone is I can look at the car and answer any questions you have at the same time. My number is 870 930 6104. I LOVE CARS AND LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THEM BUT PLEASE CALL ONLY IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED IN BUYING. Sorry, but I just have too many things going on if you are not serious. Most of the time I sell my cars before the auction ends. Someone calls and we agree on a price, they pay a deposit and they either come and get it or they have it shipped. If this car is what you have been looking for, just give me a call and we can deal. I constantly have people call wanting to know why I ended the auction. The best cars don't last long and they don't come around as often. It might take a year or two to find another one like this one. It is best to buy what you really want the first time to keep from missing it. This four speed 350 block does a great job and looks great doing it as well. I will tell about the car as I work my way through the pictures. I took the pictures in natural light, some in full sun and some in shaded areas. I believe in showing the car as it really looks, none of my pictures are ran through a program to make them look better than it really does. I will say this car looks great and the paint is as close to a # 10 as I have ever owned. You can see by the reflection in the pictures that it looks like you could stick your hand in it a couple of feet deep. The chrome is all new and the rest of the stainless is new and what did not get replaced look great just as it should. The preveious owner told me drove it on cruises and shows and never had any problems. It has been to BRANSON A FEW TIMES. Just look at that reflection of the country store that is a hundred feet or more away. It has that 3-D look. All the Z/28 emblems are new too. This is the same side just a different angle. I just want to show enough shots everyone can see there are very few flaws in this car. The front spoiler and most of the lights are new also. The glass is all in great shape and all of the windows roll up good. I put alot of work fixing one of the rear windows. When I say new the car was done prior to 2007 and only shows 12.5k miles. The stripes are neat and straight with no flaws and there are no rough edges. The stripes are clear coated with the blue and they are smoth as glass. I am a retired farmer and sell a few cars a year. In Arkansas. if you sell five a year you have to buy a dealer's tag. The stripes also are perfect inside where they start and stop too. I hate to see this one go but I just traded for a '61 Corvette and I plan to keep it awhile. This MIRROR-like finish shows everything you get close to. THIS 350 CU. IN. MOTOR RUNs GREAT ON PREMIUM PUMP GAS AND STARTS EVERY TIME YOU TOUCH THE KEY. IT HAS ACCEL HEI IGNITION WITH ACCEL PLUG WIRES. IT HAS A SIX BLADE FLEX FAN AND HAS NOT OVERHEATED WITH ME. IT HAS AN ALUMINUM INTAKE AND AN ELEBROCK CARB. POWER STEERING AND HOOKER HEADERS. I KNOW IT HAS A CAM AND HAS TALL VALVE COVERS FOR ROLLER ROCKERS. IT SOUNDS GOOD WITH FLOW MASTERS AND RUNS STRONG. IT JUST NEEDS A GOOD OWNER TO GIVE IT A GOOD LOVING HOME. The rubber flaps that cover the upper control arm are missing. The car has alot of new brake lines also the master cyclinder. The four speed shifts smooth and easy just as it should. The console looks good. The carpet is like new and the seats look great. There is one small flaw on the driver seat . I do not think it would be a deal breaker for anyone. All of the door jams and seals are nice. The bottoms of the doors are nice and look great as well. I did not get a shot of the headliner, but it is tight and looks as good as the rest of the interior. THE BACKS OF THE SEATS LOOK GOOD AND EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. Both doors open and shut nice and easy. THE WHITE SPOT ON THE ROPING IS THE FLOW I MENTIONED EARLIER. I did not like the pedals when I first saw them but after I drove the car I changed my mind. They are much better than GM original. My camera brings out things the human eye doesn't see. The fire wall looks very nice and the paint is smooth. This picture was taken at 6", so it is magnified showing more than the eye sees. THE TIRES ARE LIKE NEW AND ARE 235/70-15'S 8 INCH WHEELS REAR AND 7'S FRONT. The disc brakes are are manual, but will stop on a dime. THE SUB FRAME WAS TAKEN OUT AND ALL BALL JOINTS, BUSHINGS AND TIE RODS REPLACED. The drag link was new as well. The disc brakes came from Classic Industries out of California. I have receipts for alot of the parts. The floor pans have been replaced with a full length right and left. THE SEAMS COME TOGETHER ABOVE THE DRIVE SHAFT TUNNEL. The park brake works and the headers do not leak. The frame rail connectors have been added for extra strength. The bottom floor pans were replaced. I clear coated to prevent it from getting wet and disolving when the trunk is opened and it is wet. The spare is new and it is on a rally rim. The cap and trim ring does not go with it though. This a very small ding that is in the door one inch high and one inch to the right. The other discolored spots are just dust.
