Up for sale is a 1964 Ford Pickup with the 223 6 cylinder engine. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner and as accurately as I can tell from the information he provided, the mileage is original. The old girl starts and runs well and has had the following mechanical repairs/upgrades performed by the previous owner and/or myself: The battery is new, the carb is new, the brake lines have been replaced, the king pins/bushings have been replaced in the steering assembly, and the brakes have been replaced, the seat has been recovered. In the photos provided you will see surface rust on the utility bed and the floor pans in the cab. This is surface rust only and is not rotted through. The bushings in the 3 speed column shift are good and it shifts well. This truck has lived its entire life on a farm in Humboldt TN and was purchased as a farm truck, so it should be noted that it has the lower geared rear end (55 mph is about the maximum comfortable speed without winding the engine RPMs up to high which is typical for this year and engine). I do have the original front bumper stored and it will go with the truck. I also have 2 spare steel rims that will go also. It should be noted that this engine has the original oil bath breather and generator. I have way to many projects at present which is why this vehicle is for sale.
