Rare 1980 Jeep Laredo with Factory V8 and Loaded with Options This is One “Cool Four Wheel Drive Jeep”!!! I started out with a Low Mileage (19,000 Originals Miles) and Very Nice Body with No Rust. I was just going to do a Nice Paint Job and then “One Thing Led to Another” and the then the Jeep was all apart with Motor and Tranny Removed so I could Media Blast it to Bare Metal. “See Pictures” The Jeep was also Media Blasted Underneath. This was done at the Best Media Blasting Shop in Colorado. He also does my High End Camaros for my Restoration Shop This is the “Rare Factory 304 V8 Motor.” We Removed the Motor and Transmission so we could Media Blast the Suspension. I did a Compression Check on the motor before we removed it. The compression was Very Good. Once the Motor was out, we pulled the Intake, Heads, Oil Pan, and Timing Cover. We first inspected the engine when it was apart then Installed All New Gaskets. New Engine Related Parts Include: Fuel Pump, Fuel Lines, Fuel Sending Unit, Vacuum Lines, Double Roller Timing Chain, Water Pump, Spark Plugs and Wires with Moroso Wire Looms, Rotor, Cap, Coil, Alternator and Belt, Power Steering Belt, Motor and Transmission Mounts, Radiator was Hot Tanked and checked for leaks, New Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses, Heater Hoses & Clamps, Thermostat,Etc etc. We also Installed Headers, New Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock 1406 Carb with Choke, Edelbrock Valve Covers, Edelbrock Air Cleaner all for Better Performance. We Inspected the Transmissions and it is in Excellent Condition so we Cleaned it and then Installed a New Clutch, Pressure Plate & Throw-Out Bearing, and Turned the Flywheel. Complete Professional Paint Job that Includes all Suspension and Underneath the Jeep was Painted. The Paint was Wet Sanded and Buffed, (Very Nice Shine) New Silver Pin Strips, New Laredo Decals in Orange and Silver to match paint. New Orange and Silver Striping on the middle of the hood. Just like Original Stripes. New Parts Include: New Brakes, Master Cylinder, U-Joints, Kenwood Stereo CD Player with Removable Face with Large Amp, (Sounds Nice) New 16 inch Rims and BFG Tires, Chrome Hood Latches, Chrome Door Hinges, Chrome Vent Panel by windshield, Chrome Front Panel by the Lights, Chrome Grant Steering Wheel, Polyurethane Suspension, Rancho Shocks,Battery, Wiper Motor Switch, Wiper Blades and Arms, Windshield, Fender Splash Guards, Fabtech Front Bumper, Large KC Lights, Windshield, Etc, etc Options Include: Factory 304 V8 Motor 5 Speed Transmission, Gauge Package with Tachometer, Clock, Temp Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, Volt Gauge, Tilt Wheel, Leather on Grab Bar, Leather Steering Wheel, Factory Special High Back Seats with Silver Stripe Back Seat, Carpet Package Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering Engine Block Heater I also have the soft with “Best Top” Half Doors The Jeep has Headers with Side Pipes and Sounds Like a Muscle Car!!! I just had this at it's First Car Show and People went Nuts for it and they took a lot of pictures. This is a Jeep that everything came together on and Just Looks Great!!!
