This 1999 Ford Explorer XLT has only had one previous owner that enjoyed driving it since it was purchased new. It's obvious that the original owner was very proud to drive this Explorer everyday and cared about keeping it in the best shape they could. The mileage on the odometer is accurate, however judging by the condition it's hard to believe the mileage it has.
Mechanically this Ford Explorer is in very good shape and can be driven with confidence. Don't let the mileage be a concern because the 4.0L V6 engine runs strong and the automatic transmission shifts properly from gear-to-gear.

During this check out we did find that the gas struts used to keep the hood up are weak and should be replaced. Also, most of the electrical equipment functions properly except for the passenger sideview mirror which cannot be adjusted with the power mirror button. Also, the fog lamps do not operate. Other than that this vehicle was properly maintained because it checked out very nicely.
