No Reserve! Nice, very Clean Toyoda FJ40 ! I have owned a few of these lately and this is by far the nicest. This cruzer had been stored inside a heated garage for the past 20 years. It was started on a regular basis and runs well. I cleaned out the carb and it fires and runs out really nice. The shift pattern is tight and the steering is tight the breaks work great!! it really goes down the road nice. four wheel drive works. Every thing to my knowledge is original to the vehical. I am sure the miles are true. The paint even shined right up !! If I where to keep one, this would be it!! I know that it was not abused, the guy I bought it from knew the two previous owners. The first used it for on road use only and the second was a mechanic that drove it to work as his daily driver, he only took it off road once or twice. The third owner put it in his garage fro the past 20 year planning a full restoration and never got to it. This explains why it is so good mechanical. I am a honest strait shooter so here are the things I know it needs. The seats needs to be recovered. It does have some rust in the rear that needs to be fixed the one side is worse than the other and the pan in the back floor has rust. ( I hate that they use salt on the roads here or this thing could be show quality) I was going to diamond plate it if I keep it, cheap and easy fix. The front of this FJ40 is really clean it does not have rust in either floor pan, up front, passenger or driver. hood is almost perfect except for some paint faid. front fenders do have one small spot of rust. The frame is assume with only small surface rust. Somthing is wrong with the choke. It runs ruff for a little bit untell it warms up and then it smothes out nice and purs like a kitten. It has an electric coke so I am sure this is an easy fix. I have driven this one around town a bit and I really love it. It feels safe, and drives like it is new. I have had five of these and this one is defenatly in the best shape as a driver. Green is also a harder color to find.
