1968 VW Bus-Camper. This Van is NOT running. I purchased the 1968 VW Bus-Camper 18 months ago. At the time, the owner of the van told me that he was on his way to work one morning and the 1968 VW Bus-Camper would not start. He never looked at it or took it in, instead he opted to sell it. I purchased it. Upon arrival I changed out the battery, gave it a fresh oil change and gave it some fuel with a new fuel pump. Since the key is broken off in the tumbler, I cross jumped the battery to starter and turned the engine over. It turned over several times. The 1968 VW Bus-Camper needs to be wired from the ignition to the starter etc.,It has a "pop-up" camper, but the camper needs to be relined. It has all of its original seats, two in front and the bench in back. It also has the spare tire in the compartment at the rear of the bus. There are no dents, no dings, no prior accidents. I have the title, the title is still in the name of the original owner as I never worked on the bus, therefore I did not go through the process of changing it. Overall, it is an outstanding 1968 VW Bus-Camper with tremendous potential, remember it's NOT running.The transmission is intact.
