I have here a very clean 88 samurai. The body is in really good shape with no rust and only a few dents and dings. the paint is original and still looks pretty good. It has the 1.3 liter carb. motor and the stock tranny and transfer case. It runs like new and very strong, shifts good and 4 wheel drive works great, Has the good best top soft top that is in good shape, interior is very clean and original, nice black carpet that is rare for a samurai, dash is very clean and like new, seats are in good shape and all have seat covers on them including the rear bench. I just put a new brass shifter bushing in the transmission and a new clutch cable on it. Has the rare gauge cluster that is hardly ever seen in samurai's. new plugs and wires. It has bigger shackles on it so its lifted about 2 inches higher than stock so it will probably fit a 31 inch tire. This is a super clean samurai that runs great. A/C works but may need to be charged it blows cold just not real cold. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME DUE TO LOCAL SALE. The bad that I know of: -wheel bearings will need to be replaced soon they have some movement in them but it still drives fine how it is now. -Dented tailgate -Rear tail light busted -Small tear in soft top but it is taped and doesn't leak. also it would probably be an easy fix for an upholstery shop -crack in front windshield -some small dings and dents on different body panels -Carb. may need cleaning or adjusting because when you first crank it up it sometimes cuts off but if you give it gas right when it cranks it will take off just fine. I drive it all the time and once its warmed up for a few minutes it idles just fine and won't cut off. This doesn't affect the way it runs because it still has lots of power and runs really good.
