Up for auction is a 1977 Chevrolet Camaro. It has it's original, unmodified 305 V-8 with just over 75k miles on the odometer, an automatic transmission and factory dual exhaust. It just had all fluids replaced, a brand new AC Delco battery installed, and it starts, runs, shifts, and stops very nicely. The V-8 is responsive and quick, and this car is a definite, easy everyday driver. Lights, wipers, radio, horn all working properly. The interior is clean with no dried out plastic panels as is typical of these cars. Seats, carpet, headliner all in good condition although the front seats do not match. They are both black vinyl Camaro seats, but one is the round top and one is the square top. Not that noticeable but definitely worth mentioning. The rear package tray is faded due to the fact that the windows on the car have never been tinted. The dashboard is in ok condition except that an ac vent was added to the center section of the dash and it caused it to crack where it was modified. This is due to the fact that I believe that this was not a factory ac car, and it was later added. The car has ice cold air conditioning although it does not blow very hard out of the vents. The dashboard is now covered with a new, very nice quality black suede dash cover and looks very presentable. The exterior of the car looks very good. The body is super straight and the white paint is bright and shiny and takes wax very well. The front grille is in good condition as are the chrome bumpers and chrome trim. All emblems are there. All 4 original rally wheels have been refinished and wrapped in brand new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires, size 225/70/14. There are 5/16" wheel spacers on the rear wheels for a little wider look. All this makes the car look very sharp and sporty. It does have a few minor rust issues, the most noticeable of which is around the bottom of the rear window on the passenger side. There is rust under the spoiler on the passenger side although it is not visible with the trunk closed. There are a couple of spots on the rocker panel on the passenger side also. The driver's side of the car is straight, clean and rust free. There is a quarter-sized chip in the center of the hood that has been touched up with the correct paint and is not that noticeacle, and there is some bubbling in the paint towards the front of the hood. There is some rust on the front of the hood that is not visible when the hood is closed. The floors of the car are solid and rust-free, and the trunk has only minor surface rust. I have tried to describe this car in as much detail as possible, both the good and the bad, so you will know exactly what you are bidding on. My feedback with Ebay is excellent because I am always completely honest about what I am selling. Bid with confidence. To sum it up, this is a very good looking classic V-8 Camaro that runs good enough to be a daily driver. Use it just as it is and turn heads, or drive it while you restore it with minimal effort and cost. Either way, you will not be disappointed with this one. I do also have the car listed locally, so I may end the auction early if a local buyer comes forward.
