timmee6 Store *1976 Honda Z50 Mini-Bike All Original Runs* This factory original 1976 Honda Z50 is in ready to ride condition. I am selling this Z50 for my recently unemployed brother. The Z50 was stored under cover in his garage for many years. I had the Z50 checked out at my local Honda motorcycle shop last week so that I would be able to describe accurately the bike’s condition. $111 later, here are the results as listed on the service receipt: “Clean carb; replace float needle; install O ring for a float bowl gasket; adjust carb as best could – will need a complete service and a carb rebuild – needs carb rebuild kit; runs and shifts.” The mechanic took the bike for a ride and said it runs fine. He told me that the bike could use steering bearings at some point. A copy of the service receipt from last week is included. Z50 carb rebuild kits are available online for $16. The engine usually starts on the first kick. It runs smoothly and quietly and accelerates without hesitation. I rode this bike around my back yard and it operated just fine. The headlights and taillight work. Tread on both tires is good. The front tire is solid. The rear tire holds air, but gradually goes flat in a day or so. The gas tank interior is not rusted (apparently a common problem with bikes this old). I entered zero mileage in the listing because mileage is unknown. There is a small dent on the gas tank. The kickstand is a little tricky – It has to be positioned just right to work. The seat has one small tear. Missing one seat grommet. No leaks detected anywhere. Minor surface rust/pitting on some metal parts. Small dent on rear fender. The left side handlebar has a partial crimp at the lower bend (see photo).I do not have a title for the mini-bike and I do not believe its specs would qualify for street use in Pennsylvania.
