You can clearly see the fresh quality of the blue MBTex seats and door panels, the immaculate engine compartment, the fittings of the doors and even the factory paper label on the Muffler! The Benz is very commodious and comfortable . In 1987 Mercedes made a one year push to promote their Top of the Line Diesels and fitted them with luxury appointments - this one even has an electric adjustable steering column. But the Best thing about this Mercedes is that it drives like a new car. It is amazingly responsive with tons of power as it has the big 6 cylinder Turbo plant that was usually reserved for the Long Body S Class sedans. The car is Very fast, but like all great Mercedes it goes down the road as though it's on rails and it pulls like an express train as well. I Have done some work on this car, replacing the steering damper and the tie rod ends and engine mounts and I also replaced the original radio (which is in the trunk) with a top end CD player. The AirConditioning is Frigid by the way and it has brand new speed rated tires, all new fluids and is ready to take you in comfort, speed and great economy anywhere in these United States.
