This is a long story and I hope you will indulge me.My brother purchased this truck from an electric utility about 10 years ago.He has a medical problem and lost his license. It has a Pa. inspection good till October 2010.I tried to register it in Delaware and it flunked the evaporative emission test (blow air in tank).The fuel tank was dropped and fill to tank connector was replaced along with a new fuel pump and gauge float.Passed the smoke test but wont hold pressure.Three more tests were done and still wont hold pressure.It seems all older rangers have bad connector hoses and Ford charges around $400 for it.Ive spent over $600 for something most states don't give a damn about.The truck runs great,drives fine,has good tires and is 100% in every other way wheel works good and it has a posi rear,I'm sorry to get rid of it but I need a truck and I'm tired of just throwing money at it.Thats the story and my misfortune can make you money.Check your own states regs,they probably don't check it.Delaware buyers you have been warned.It is inspected in Pa. till October.
